Okay, so I understand that this is my side money blog, but I’m running a short little experiment that may last for a couple days on vacuum cleaner reviews. So the question is does this place fair better, or rather does my vacuum cleaner reviews sites fair better when I write about vacuum cleaner reviews, or reviews in general? Or should I just stick on my side money topic and leave it at that? Does mingling side money and vacuum cleaners reviews screw with my ratings, or is it helpful, or does it do nothing? Eh, only time shall tell right? Generally speaking, whether you are talking about vacuum cleaners or side money the main thing that matters is the amount of work that you put into it. So after a 30 day blogging challenge where I reviewed hundreds of items, and did a lot of work getting the templates for my easy simple side money blog here ready for a long haul run… then never went the long haul… well it only makes sense to pop in occasionally with some side money news from time to time ya know? But that’s not really what today is about, for the most part today is about my vacuum cleaner comparison site that does decently well, but not as well as last year… so the goal is to regain the supremacy that I had on the vacuum cleaner rankings stuff again. So how does one do that? Well that is the question of the hour is it not? In general being so lack luster and spreading the same message over a wide birth of topics is not a great thing… but I am hoping that I can make this vacuum cleaner reviews topic long enough to make up for the indiscretions that may present themselves at times. I think that what I am missing may be much worse than just a few vacuum cleaner reviews, but rather a vacuum cleaner content lack… so we shall see. Onward and upward though, that is the side money way right? Or is that just the best vacuum cleaner ratings talking to me?

Since this is my Easy Simple Side Money blog I guess it is appropriate that I share that my Easy Simple Side Money reviews will be somewhat lacking for a while. I’ve got a whole bunch of work to do with multiple projects, including but not limited to The Bible Animated! Got a whole lotta stuff to do, but The Bible Animated is kind of priority in the matter. It is a huge undertaking with CakePHP and I’m the only one working on it, so it’s hard to find the motivation… also it’s hard to keep up with this Easy Simple Side Money reviews blog when I’ve got so much to do with The Bible Animated. Anyways, we’ll be back to the Easy Simple Side Money blog at some point in time, just not right this second since I’ve got several other projects to build on, also including a food site HealthyBudgetCooking.com to help people learn to do Healthy Budget Cooking ;-)

I’ve seen some preliminary results from my 30 day blogging challenge that I started with CodySortore.com/Blog/ which officially ends in 2 days… on the 19th I will have done a full 30 days of blogging… well actually since last month was a 31 day month the 18th will be 30 full days of blogging!!! Well, as everyone says it takes 30 days to form a habit, and it’s habit, I blog every day out of instinct now! Which is a good thing in many ways :-D If you’ve followed me here I created a 90 day blogging challenge here, and I intend to follow through on it, especially after I’ve seen what kind of power you can get from a 30 day challenge on what ended up being 3 sites… I’ve taken the challenge to the next level though, not only have I extended it, I also added 9 of my websites with any kind of PR to the challenge! So the goal is to go for the next 90 days with 9 websites, thats 810 posts in 3 months… most of which will contain Amazon Links, some will be sponsored in other forms. Either way, I couldn’t do it with the basic bare WP template, So I got some Wicked WordPress Themes to pimp out my sites!

There are a few reasons why I chose the specific themes that I chose… but don’t be too surprised if I add 3 or 4 other websites to the mix by the end of this! I enjoy building my own websites, but WP is just so easy to use, and get started with… for the next 90 days I plan on being a WordPress master ;-)

A lot of people think that to make money online you have to be able to build websites… this simply isn’t true. Some of the most profitable webmasters don’t have a single domain to their name! They use things like Squidoo, wordpress.com, blogger.com, and a whole variety of other places to make their fortunes. It’s not a walk in the park though! It requires a lot of work, and time to make these successful, you’re fighting against hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions of other users on the same platform who are trying to do the same thing. You also have to respect the wishes of the website owner or you can get yourself banned. Personally I prefer my own websites, for which you need reliable web hosting, and it might take a little bit longer to get traffic rolling… but you can more or less do your own thing. But you still don’t have to be able to code your own site, with hundreds of free programs out there (such as wordpress, and Joomla) you can pretty easily set up a website absolutely free! With hundreds of free templates you could be up and running on a 6 month free hosting package (first 6 months free, then like $3-$10 a month after that), a free website, and a free customization of that site! It will take you a good 3-6 months before you start making money from your site, but if you take up the 90 day blogging challenge and follow us here I’m sure you’ll be an expert in no time ;-) Okay, well maybe proficient.

And if you will excuse me, I actually do have some website coding to do. The main reason I’m looking to make a little money online with my websites is so that I can stay home even after our son starts school, and work on a project with some people I met with TheBibleAnimated project. Should be pretty self explanatory, using Blender to recreate the Bible for the 21st Century! Well not really recreate, just retelling the stories in 3D.
