If you’re investigating the-team.biz scam for yourself right now… chances are you’re having a very difficult time finding any real information on the program. The site tells nothing, the sales pitch tells nothing, the information material tells nothing… so it’s very hard to decide of the-team.biz is a scam or if the-team.biz is not a scam. I did as much digging as I could, trying to figure out if the-team.biz was a scam… So here’s what I’ve found:
First off, I was introduced to the-team.biz by an old acquaintance from high school. They emailed me with the message “Hey my husband owns a leadership and life training business, and I thought of you. No promises but I think you two would hit it off and should talk.” This email came off a little odd… so was I being offered a job? Was he looking for partners, and she figured I could help him? Never the less my curiosity was peaked, so I decided to follow it up.
I met her husband to try and figure out what in the world she was going on about. I mean, it’s his business, he’s got to have more information than her right? I could understand if I had talked to Rose about wanting or needing some help with my websites, and her talking to one of her friends with only half the information. I wouldn’t be able to offer someone an hourly paying job, but might be interested in inviting someone to partner with me. So I could understand if Rose sent a confusing message like that. When I met up with him… well… I got about as little information as you could imagine from someone who doesn’t understand their business that they are a part of. He gave me 4 CD’s that he promised would explain what the business was about to listen to before our next meeting. 2 hours of my time wasted listening to a couple of guys rambling about how to become successful with these 13 virtues… that are never explained or even mentioned in the CD’s. Okay… so how does that explain what the business is? Well lucky for me the day after we met again there was this great speaker with a teleconference going on that I could get in on! Sure… if it will explain more about the business that’s no problem… oh… you want $30 for it… uh… you want me to pay $30 to get the business that you want me to get a part of to help explain it to me? Yeah… no. If you can’t explain it to me for free, I ain’t paying shit to find out about it.
So he wastes my time with a couple more meetings, and a whole lot more nothing CD’s and books on the business that he is a part of. Okay, so I’m tired of the bullshit at this point, so I start doing my own research on the-team.biz Good luck, I hope that I can make that exploration phase easier for someone with this. If you aren’t familiar with the MLM (or multi-level-marketing) business model… I guess I need to explain that first. Okay, so back in the 1920′s there was a guy named Richard Ponzi, who created an “investment” opportunity that guaranteed results… for some it worked, for others they got shafted… It was deemed illegal because of the unethical tactic of using the investments others paid to pay back other investors who had previously paid in after 90 days… Ever since small businesses all over have tried to imitate this process of having employees recruit new people in with incentives for the more people they recruit. In the 80′s we got the first successful MLM business Amway, while it was successful at doing this, and avoiding being slapped with a Ponzi Scheme lawsuit by making it so that people were making more off of the products being sold than the from how many recruits they brought in… Well then along comes a spider a couple of guys named Chris and Orrin who are tired of their engineering jobs get involved with Amway… but they spot a problem right away. The program has a 90% drop out rate, and a 99% failure rate of those who do not drop out. So these two guys who have NEVER run a successful business, and have no business creds to speak of… decide that they are business experts and will teach others to run their own business. They approach Amway and say that things are broken, and they can fix them. Amway creates Quixtar lead by Chris and Orrin, they take the McDonalds philosophy and apply it to MLM. When you are recruited into Quixtar instead of going straight to work selling Amway products you start with a 2 year training course with Chris and Orrin where you buy their motivational talks, and they teach you to be a successful employee of Amway (all while telling you that you are your own business owner). Later Chris and Orrin realized that they had reached the end of their earning potential with their Team of Destiny (the training program for Quixtar) and the whole Quixtar program. They noticed that they were starting to lose some of their 6 figure salaries because of that 90% drop out rate and 99% failure rate that they failed to fix with the Team of Destiny… So they went to get out of the Amway business and create their own MLM business where they are at the top of the pyramid getting all of the cash.
This is where we get the-team.biz from. It is essentially the training program created for Quixtar, now being sold by itself as a multi-level-marketing campaign that supposedly sells nothing, and asks for nothing from anyone. After revealing this information to him… since he wasn’t able to explain the business to me I explained it to him… After which he told me that I didn’t understand the business at all, and all the information was in the book… yeah, the book doesn’t have any information at all. The following conversation says everything there is to say about this business.
Me: “Okay, since you can’t give me a straight answer on what the product is, or how much it’s going to cost me… Tell me this: What benefit is it to YOU being here selling this training series to me.”
Him: “The product is a better you!”
Me: “Which is free… so why are you here?”
Him: “Listen, the first day we talked you said you have some financial goals that you are working towards, all we are here to do is help you achieve those goals.”
Me: “And it won’t cost me anything?”
Him: “Of course it’s going to cost you, you will have to work towards financial freedom.”
Me: “Yes, but I’m talking about the actual cost of the training program.”
Him: “You can’t put a value on something like that! Listen, when my wife and I first started this it was our goal that she would be able to be a stay at home mom, and that we would have 0 debt. Since we started she hasn’t worked since she was 3 months pregnant with our oldest daughter, and I’m about to retire in 3 months.”
Me: “That’s pretty impressive. Being that with the Fed keeping interest rates low you’ve either got A) $1,500,000 in a savings account to live off of the interest or B) $3,000,000 in a 401K program.”
Him: “I don’t get what you’re saying…”
Me: “Well, retirement… that’s a big thing! You’ve got two daughters, and a wife to support you’ve got to supplement a $40,000 a year job for the next 65 years since you’re only 24.”
Him: “That has been supplemented by this program, I don’t need the money in the bank.”
Me: “So you’re not retiring, you’re working from home… Which I already do… so what benefit is this program to me now?”
Him: “No, I already did that, now I’m retiring.”
Me: “Right… so you’re not working with the program anymore?”
Him: “Nope, I’m mentoring now.”
Me: “Which isn’t working? you’re teaching, but not working… and people aren’t paying for the program… and you’re teaching them to be better themselves which doesn’t benefit you in any way… and without a dime in the bank you’re retiring from work to teach which doesn’t pay but makes you so much better that you don’t need anything else… am I following you clearly?”
Him: “The program provides everything you need to live a better life. Listen, this program isn’t for everyone… if you don’t want to achieve your goals, and you don’t want a successful marriage, and you don’t want a better faith then this program probably isn’t for you.”
Me: “So… I won’t achieve my financial goals, and my wife will leave me… and God is gonna kick me in the nuts if I don’t buy into your program that doesn’t cost anything and only serves to make me a better person?”
Him: “I don’t think you understand the freedom that we are offering here.”
Me: “I don’t think you understand the brainwashing you’ve been offered here…”
After this he left with little to say other than something along the lines of “I’m sorry that you don’t want to be a better person, 95% of people will never try to be more than they are now.” or some crap like that. Which says all that there is to say about this program to me. I don’t know if I would cal the-team.biz a scam… no… scam isn’t quite the right word for the-team.biz… Cult… yes, Cult is the right word! A brain washed nationwide cult of people who have been tricked into believing that they have been freed… all they need to do is pay another $30 to get another fix of their life altering nonsense spewed by Chris and Orrin.
No you’re not losing your mind! You know your coffee loving self would love the simplicity of a Keurig Single-Cup Home-Brewing coffee machine without the huge price tag… You can even chose your color and style, ok… ok… there are only three choices, but this beauty is suppose to be brewing your coffee and be a slight show piece in your kitchen. Not hung on your wall with spinning rims

A lot of people think that to make money online you have to be able to build websites… this simply isn’t true. Some of the most profitable webmasters don’t have a single domain to their name! They use things like Squidoo, wordpress.com, blogger.com, and a whole variety of other places to make their fortunes. It’s not a walk in the park though! It requires a lot of work, and time to make these successful, you’re fighting against hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions of other users on the same platform who are trying to do the same thing. You also have to respect the wishes of the website owner or you can get yourself banned. Personally I prefer my own websites, for which you need reliable web hosting, and it might take a little bit longer to get traffic rolling… but you can more or less do your own thing. But you still don’t have to be able to code your own site, with hundreds of free programs out there (such as wordpress, and Joomla) you can pretty easily set up a website absolutely free! With hundreds of free templates you could be up and running on a 6 month free hosting package (first 6 months free, then like $3-$10 a month after that), a free website, and a free customization of that site! It will take you a good 3-6 months before you start making money from your site, but if you take up the 90 day blogging challenge and follow us here I’m sure you’ll be an expert in no time
Okay, well maybe proficient.
And if you will excuse me, I actually do have some website coding to do. The main reason I’m looking to make a little money online with my websites is so that I can stay home even after our son starts school, and work on a project with some people I met with TheBibleAnimated project. Should be pretty self explanatory, using Blender to recreate the Bible for the 21st Century! Well not really recreate, just retelling the stories in 3D.
Just to start off even if you’re not particularly interested in finance or the stock market. You should spend a couple days reading The Snowball. Its a fantastic laid back humorous and even at times sad account of “The Oracle of Omaha.” Or in other circles one of the worlds best know philanthropists.
“Life is like a snowball. The important thing is find wet snow and a really long hill.” – Warren Buffett
Here is THE book recounting the life and times of one of the most respected men in the world, Warren Buffett. The legendary Omaha investor has never written a memoir, but now he has allowed one writer, Alice Schroeder, unprecedented access to explore directly with him and with those closest to him his work, opinions, struggles, triumphs, follies and wisdom. The result is the personally revealing and complete biography of the man known to many as the might “Oracle of Omaha.”
One of the first things you will notice about blogging a lot… is that it is a pain… no seriously, if you’re trying to do our 90 day blogging challenge you will soon notice pains everywhere… wrist pains, finger pains, eye strain… working on the computer requires a lot of special attention to ergonomics. The most ergonomic keyboard that I have ever found is the Logitech Wave K350 2.4Ghz Wireless Keyboard this thing is beautiful! The Logitech Wave K350 2.4Ghz Wireless Keyboard has a slight angle, much better than most split keyboards that have sharp angles some times worse than a straight keyboard. The Logitech Wave K350 2.4Ghz Wireless Keyboard also has a slight dip in the keys where your longer fingers rest, it creates the most comfortable natural keystrokes ever. I’ve been using a Logitech Wave keyboard for about 2 years now, and I cannot imagine ever using another keyboard. I’ve got some other ergonomic tricks up my sleeve for working on the computer, but we’ll talk about those later
Your keyboard is your primary weapon in your blogging arsenal, so the $40 it will take to get a good ergonomic keyboard is well worth every penny. Even a 2 year lifespan will easily pay for itself… repetitive motion injuries are no fun to deal with, trust me when I say that before you begin this journey a comfortable keyboard like the Logitech Wave K350 2.4Ghz Wireless Keyboard is a necessity.

Okay, this is for anyone looking to start up an online business. Who said that starting a business had to be hard? The 90 day blogging challenge won’t win you any awards for most productive sites of the year… but it may just get you rolling on your path to success. There are a few things that the blogging challenge teaches, for one consistency, the other you learn the dynamics of running a website and will get a lot of experience in that short time.
So what is the 90 day blogging challenge? Well very simply put it is to add at least one entry to your blog every day for 30 days. Doesn’t matter what your business is, if you run an online shop, if you’re reviewing products, no matter what you are doing the 30 day challenge will benefit you.
One of the first lessons you will learn from the blogging challenge (if you stick with it) is that your website does not work when you’re not working. Because of the dynamic nature of the internet all search engines keep track of how often your site is updated, based on that they may move you up or down in the search engine results. Someone who doesn’t update very often isn’t going to get a lot of attention from the big search engines. When they scan your site and see the same information that they saw yesterday when they scanned your site, they don’t scan your site again for about a week… if the same information is STILL there… well… you may as well forget trying to get them to update your information. Blogging is particularly good for this because when you update it sends out a “ping” to other websites so that they know you’ve updated. Websites in your same category may like what you said and link to you… this will increase the number of scans done by the search engines.
As you can imagine this process isn’t going to be instant. The big search engines need to see consistent changes on your site before they start scanning and updating your sites listings every day… or even hour. And in this we learn something else… patience. While some things on the internet are instant others take time. Making money online is one of those things that is going to take time! You have a minimum of 30 days, often as much as 90 days before you start seeing profits from your online endeavors… because of this you have to stay consistent for at least 3 months before you can make a judgment on whether or not working online is for you. If you don’t like the idea of waiting 3 months for a paycheck… this may not be your field. At first it was very hard for me to keep motivated in this environment… You’d work your BUTT off for 2-3 weeks straight, every day, 8 hours a day like a normal job… But you would see no results from it… then after 2 months you’d start having money flood in! So you would start working hard again only to watch your money dwindle as you worked… of course this is not motivating, so it can be easy to let your work slip. This is why you must keep at it for 90 days straight through before making up your mind.
So here is to the beginning of a 90 day challenge on EasySimpleSideMoney! I’ve got a few other blogs that have been running this kind of challenge, but now it is time to get this one working
The combined power of those other sites will eventually breath life into this site, hopefully faster than 90 days, but the goal is to keep at it for that long and see where it gets us.
I’ll be working with Jordan on this goal, so it should be easy as pie to keep up with.

The idea and goal behind this blog is to be a place where not only can we make a little profit, but hopefully along our journey teach others how they can profit online. Making money online isn’t for everyone, and it’s not a part time job like many would have your believe. You will have to put a great deal of time and effort into making money online, potentially costing your a bit of money for advertisements as well! Working online is a limited market as well, essentially the only job there is online is advertising, oh sure some people spread information for free, but most of them are still just giving information on products, services, or businesses that whether free or not, simply serve as advertisements. Occasionally you get a truly free website that only serves as an education portal, such as Wikipedia, even then it is still chalk full of intentional or unintentional advertisements. Along with tips and tricks for others to do the same thing we do, you will find product reviews, financial tips, money saving tips, and many other similar fields of expertise.
Anyways, I should tell you a little bit about myself. I am Cody Sortore, I’ve been working online for years, now I am a stay at home father. I don’t have any “need” to make money online, and I spend a lot of time tinkering with Blender working on some projects including The Bible Animated, in which we are working towards bringing the Bible into the 21st century through animation. I should warn you, if you haven’t noticed already, I like run on sentences… so get over it. I feel a sentence should be a complete though, and as a mildly autistic person, my thoughts go wide, far, and stretch through many different topics… all of this somehow blends together to form one coherent idea, thought, or topic in my mind, but may appear to be complete gibberish to anyone else outside of my brain.
